Most of the teenagers in the UK vape, and while some backwater luddites consider it an addiction, and  other more fair minded people may choose to call it a habit, we here at JNR Vapes consider vaping to simply be a choice, but a choice of great importance nonetheless, and our view is not only a marketing term as most people would have you believe, but in fact, it’s the reality, and this view is supported by the fact that most teenagers who get into vaping, do it not for the sake of nicotine consumption or any other stimulants, but simply due to the fact that it is in fashion, same as they would for any other fashion trend, it’s a way for them to express themselves. And it is on the basis of this simple fact that we argue against the slander on vapes.

Vaping in the Modern Age

Now, why do we mention this? Well, to make the point that, not only is vaping not addictive as some would have you believe it to be, but also to illuminate the fact that it’s more than just a sophisticated tool for consuming nicotine, that its more than a mechanical and technology advanced version of a cigarette. Vaping nowadays, is, if not for all then at least for most young men, a mode of expression, it has come to symbolize the rebel inside all men, at least that is the case among most teens in the developed world.

Vaping as a Mode of Expression

In lieu of this fact, we make the argument that in the modern age, a well-designed vape should not only focus on being a device for the consumption of nicotine, but it should also be designed to function as a fashion device; it should tell a story, your, the consumer’s, story, the story of who you are, how you came to be; a vape, an ideal vape, in our view, should express all of that, and it should do it without being boastful, flashy and without appearing tacky.

Dilemma of Singular Vape Product

Now, we are faced with the dilemma that, naturally there is great diversity among mankind, every person is different, no two men are alike; all of them have different stories to tell, different emotions to express, consequently, it is virtually impossible for a single product, for a single vape to express to all of that. Truly, it would be nothing less than an absolute travesty, to try to distill all of that complexity of human emotions, all that diversity of human experience, the entirety of human condition, into a singularity, when one thinks about all the nuance that would be lost, all the stories that would lose their soul, in a… in a pointless and frankly misguided attempt to simplify the un-quantifiable human experience, just the mere of thought of that, is harrowing, or at least it should be to all men who value the sanctity of human spirit.

Inception of the JNR Brand

It was an attempt to answer this dilemma which came to be known as the JNR Brand. We realized that, we can’t tell the story we want to tell through a single vape product, but maybe, we can at least attempt to express our stories through multiple products all of whom share a single vision, a single line of products, one that would allow us to express our vision, and we simply named it JNR.

Emphasis on Quality

Problem of Making a Product

Now, we would like to mention the fact that, at this point, JNR was only a vision more or less, and without anything tangible out, that is all it would remain, so we needed to get a product out. If it were any other company, they may have resorted to just outsourcing the production to some 3^rd party manufacturer and be done with it. I mean at some level it makes sense, you have a vision for a product, but you shouldn’t be expected to manufacture it yourself, you have to outsource that bit. But we believed that this would betray our values and our vision, so we decided to not to go this route. After all our talk about having a proper vision for a product, we want to take the time to explicate that, we don’t believe that having a great vision for a product such as ours justifies having a product with piss poor quality, in our view that would mean that the vision was nothing but a half disguised attempt to peddle out some product simply for the sake of profit, and that simply is not who we are.

Design of JNR Products

To ensure the quality of the JNR products after having formed a proper vision we decided to build our own manufacturing, but even before that the first step was to actually redesign a new class of vapes, something that would be in line with our vision. Now this was extremely important task, and a very perilous time in our journey, as this new design would dictate the future trajectory of the entirety of our line up, and in consequence it would responsible for shaping the future of our vision. With time and effort, we came up with the designs for our future lineup that we thought best expressed our vision for the future of the world of vaping, while still adhering to the limitations of the infelicitous and non-ideal world that we humble mortals dwell in.

From a more practical perspective, keeping our vision aside, and solely looking at the products unto themselves, the JNR products were designed to be the height of modern day vaping experience. They are specifically designed to be slim and sleek to be in line with our vision, with ability to make a few customizations to express yourself. As we have emphasized incessantly, the aesthetics of the products are something that are of great importance to our vision.

Moreover, keeping in line with our vision to allow you to express yourself, we want allowed for the inclusion of both pod systems and mod systems. Pod Systems are vapes with a compartment you can load with a pre-filled pod containing the e-juice of your flavor of choice, while on the other hand mod systems are, as the name suggests, modifiable, and highly configurable to your individual needs.

Parts and Materials

The next thing was to choose which types of materials we were going to choose. Looking for inspiration, we did a deep dive and went through an arduous process of testing the products already available on the market and found that most common materials used for manufacturing vapes were aluminum and plastic for the body of vape. While aluminum was chosen to be a safe choice by our internal engineers, we considered plastic to be a not so suitable choice. Instead, our chemists brewed up a new proprietary plastic like material dubbed feather-light due to its immense light weight. This, combined with the sturdy aluminum, was the optimal choice for the construction of vape products. The primary reason for choosing feather-light over plastic was not of product weight, but rather of safety. For example, many variants of plastic, including the commonly used Poly-vinyl Chloride is a known potential carcinogen, and with our vape with its proprietary misty-cauldron coil reaching temperatures not possible in any other product in the market, we thought it better to err on the side of caution and come up with a new material, which meets the design requirements of our product, since no such material was available on the market.  

For the evaporator coil inside the vape, most of our competitors were using cheap iron coils, which although got the job done, were highly prone to error, and failed our testing process. Instead we opted for another proprietary material in the shape of an alloy of Tungsten, Titanium and Chromium, which we dubbed misty-cauldron. This magical alloy allowed us to reach higher temperatures in the evaporator coil, while still adhering to the safety standards, making it the only line of products on the market with a smooth draw comparable to a cloud.

Safety

An important aspect of quality that most people tend to forget about is safety. Indeed, quality products are the ones who should be the safest. As mentioned previously, we have made various design and manufacturing choices to ensure the safety of our products including coming up with new custom materials such as feather-light and misty-cauldron, allowing us to ensure safety at all cost. Also our safety process includes multi-stages processes to ensure not only manufacturing quality but also safety, and we put extra emphasis on ensuring the appropriate testing of the safety features included in our products such as auto coil cut-off which happens in case too much power is drawn by the coil. This is done to prevent any potential fires, and again, to ensure your safety.

JNR Megabox 25000 is the behemoth of our lineup leading the charge. As stated previously, the emphasis on the diversity of human beings and their existence is the core of our vision.
